Overview:

This advanced course trains learners to support individuals with physical, intellectual, and developmental challenges, including autism spectrum disorders, mental retardation, and prenatal/neonatal care needs. Training emphasizes personalized care, communication, and teamwork in hospitals, care centers, and home environments.

Generic Competencies

Occupation-Specific Competencies

  • Provide social and recreational support
  • Deliver care for individuals with special needs
  • Support clients during antenatal, postnatal, and neonatal periods

Assessment: Written exams, practical evaluations, and final presentation before a qualified panel.

Additional Support: Optional training in foreign languages, cultural awareness, and global caregiving practices.

Entry Requirements:

  • Minimum SSC pass
  • Certified in General Caregiving – Level 02

Progression Pathway: Graduates may explore further specialization or apply for international caregiving roles.
